Hailey's Bedtime Question Session

Tonight's dialogue, after reading and singing (I really don't transcribe these nearly as often as I should):


Hailey: When I grow up, how many kids am I gonna have?

Dad: Well I suppose as many as you would like to have.

H: (holding up the only hand not under the blanket) I want this many kids...what are their names going to be daddy?

D: Well, baby, that's up to you. What names do you like?

H: What's Erin's middle name again?

D: Victoria

H: Yeah, Victoria...and what's Mommy's middle name again?

D: Yvonne.

H: Yeah, yeah, Yvonne. Victoria and Yvonne. And Grandma Sheila. Ummm Sheila.

D: What about if you have boys?

H: Um, what's your middle name?

D: ...Hubert.

H: Um, James, and what's Nicholas' middle name?

D: Didn't like Hubert, huh. Nicholas' middle name is James.

H: ...Oooh, Poppa, I mean Jack...Poppa Jack. ...What are they going to look like Daddy?

D: Okay, kid, time for sleep...

H: Goodnight.
